American motorsport icon and professional athlete Travis Pastrana returned to NASCAR this weekend at Charlotte, and he's hungry for more. Post his P21 finish, the action sports legend admitted he is open to more seat time, specifically for an iconic race.

Pastrana captained the No. 25 Kaulig Racing Ram as part of Ram’s Free Agent Program, and spoke about how he had been just surviving since the green flag dropped.

“None of the Ram had never been around this track at speed, and we were all pretty loose,” Pastrana explained. “I was behind my joint going in turn three on lap two. He was like Tokyo Drift, man."

The former X Games participant then detailed how the restarts affected the night. “Especially on the last restart, a lot of the trucks behind me had new tires, and I’d let it breathe just a little bit going into turn one, and all of a sudden we’re four wide,” Pastrana said.

“That was cool though. A couple of restarts, I’m looking around, all of my heroes all around me, and you know.”

Despite multiple attempts at keeping the car clear of the wall, Pastrana always managed to brush it, yet he added, “By the end, it felt pretty good,” he said. “We were learning every time, we’re picking up.”

But the biggest moment came when the reporter suggested a possible return at Homestead-Miami Speedway, to which Pastrana had a cheerful fan-waiting reply. “What do the fans think? Homestead for Travis Pastrana?” the reporter asked.

Pastrana smiled and added, “I won’t say no.”

Homestead-Miami that hosts the final championship race this year will not be a regular racing experience for any driver, let alone Pastrana who doesn't race full-time.

But at the same time, Pastrana is who he is because he dares to do it. And coincidentally, his last race in the O'Reilly Series was also at the same track, which was his only start there so far. Starting from 22nd, Pastrana drove the #60 for Roush Fenway Racing and finished 18th.

Pastrana’s resume in NASCAR is far wider than many realize, and for that reason, he is loved across disciplines. Let’s see what all this daredevil has achieved till now.

Long before his return to Charlotte sparked conversations about a return to Miami, Travis Pastrana already had one of the most distinctive careers in NASCAR. This icon has competed across all three national series with 42 Xfinity Series starts, several Truck Series appearances, and even two Cup Series starts.

However, his most famed moment came at the Daytona 500 in 2023, when he surprised everyone by finishing 11th for 23XI Racing.

If we jog our memory further back, Pastrana was also famous for earning a Talladega pole in 2013 while piloting the car for Roush Fenway Racing.

His unique aggressive style, combined with his adaptability, makes him a fan favorite. And it is for that exact reason he is once again awaited on the racetrack by competitors and fans alike.
