Greg Biffle Estate Investigation Expands as Authorities Examine New Leads

Days after his tragic death, Greg Biffle's house was vandalized, looted, and burglarized. Now, reports have surfaced that the burglary might have been an inside job, as the passwords and bank account numbers were altered to facilitate transactions.

Biffle died on December 18, 2025, and burglars carried out a burglary at their Mooreville home in North Carolina. Sharing a detail on the same, an Iredell County sheriff’s detective wrote in a search warrant application filed in court on March 10.

“It is the belief of this affiant that a plan has been in place by friends of Gregory Biffle and strategically executed after the death of the Biffle family. This fraud appears to have been a strategic and coordinated strike against all accounts through multiple States which has resulted in hundreds of thousands of dollars being stolen."

Over $30,000 in cash, his personal Glock handguns, and NASCAR memorabilia were taken from a safe. Moreover, the suspicion grew stronger as the suspects knew the location of the security cameras and the safe hours of the house.

"Evidence shows this would have to have multiple conspirators that had access to and intimate knowledge of” the Biffles’ accounts, “as well as their personal identifying information, i.e. social security numbers, birthdays, passwords, etc. This leads the affiant to believe that a conspiracy has been in place for a long period of time to commit fraud against the Biffle family," the statement further read.

Surprisingly, an email was also sent to Biffle's account, with a short, inappropriate message. This raised ample suspicion, and the local authority points fingers at Biffle's close associates amid his tragic death.
