Joey Logano has come a long way from his rivalry with Kevin Harvick. Not only is he appearing on Harvick's podcast, but watching him compete with his son has impressed the three-time champion.

While discussing this race on 'Kevin Harvick’s Happy Hour,' Logano praised the 13-year-old Keelan’s race craft.

"And I mean, Keelan's been in the car a lot. Like, I mean, he's racing all the time. He might be 13 years old, but he's got the experience of maybe a 16 or 17-year-old at this point, right? Because he's just been in the car that often. So, his racecraft is going to be better than most."

Young Keelan kicked off his karting career back in 2020, when he was just seven. Since then, he has moved to Legends cars and late models. And it all comes down to his father's work alongside him.

That's why Logano added, "And he's got, yeah, he's got a great coach with him, right? Like, you got the best coach that you can ever ask for, right? And so I can only imagine being Kevin because, on one hand, you just got beat, but it's your son, and I'd be like, " And that's so cool."  

The Harvicks recently went head-to-head in the Mark Galloway Shootout at Evergreen Speedway during the Late Pro Model series. Keelan qualified 17th but climbed through the field during the race. However, once the race started, he made up places and eventually held off the 2007 Daytona 500 winner. 

For Keelan Harvick, sharing the track with his father Kevin Harvick, who is also the 2014 NASCAR Champion, has taught him an invaluable lesson. And that showed in a recent outing.

The advantage of having Kevin Harvick in your corner extends way beyond just the race day coaching. With every race, Keelan Harvick continues to better his race craft. He recently revealed something he learned after he won the race.

Before the race at Evergreen Speedway, the father-son duo raced at Kerns Raceway in Bakersfield. During this race, yet again it was Keelan who snatched the race victory. 

During his appearance on the "Kevin Harvick’s Happy Hour" podcast, the 2007 Daytona 500 winner asked his son a question. 

"What was the ultimate story? What was the lesson that we learned, we talked about it after the race? In order to finish first?" 

To which the younger Harvick replied, saying,  "You must finish the race." (via @HarvickHappyPod on X)

Keelan’s response reflected the influence Kevin Harvick continues to have on his son. Logano sees Kevin's mentorship as Keelan's biggest asset as he climbs the racing ranks.
