It's been a month since Kyle Busch left everyone. While Motorsports fans are yet to cope with the fact that one of the best drivers of NASCAR is no longer alive, the situation is far worse for his family.

After Busch's passing, life goes on for a heartbroken Samantha, who not only has to recover from the loss but also has her children to raise. Being weak emotionally is not something she can afford.

"I lost the love of my life, my person, and my best friend," Mrs. Busch wrote on a recent Instagram post. "The man I built a life with and the person I thought I would grow old with. But I'm still Mom. Grief doesn't stop parenting. The morning still comes. There are questions to answer, tears to wipe away, races to get to, bedtime stories to read, and two kids trying to make sense of a loss that no child should ever have to face."

After Busch's passing, Samantha made her first public appearance on May 24 at the Coca-Cola 600 in Charlotte, where she was in a devastated state as Steve O'Donnell paid tribute to the late legend with the entire garage and their families present behind them.

In fact, Busch's son, Brexton, showed an immensely strong mentality as he patted her mother and stood by her.

"People keep asking me how I stay so strong. The truth is, I don't feel strong most days. I miss Kyle every second of every day. I want to curl up in a ball and cry. But I'm a mom. Brexton and Lennix still need hugs, comfort, laughter, routines, and someone to help carry their hurting hearts, while mine is shattered," Samantha Busch further added on her post.

Since Kyle Busch's passing, Samantha has been a constant presence at her son Brexton's races. She is fulfilling the promise she made to Kyle to do everything she can to help their children pursue their dreams.

Kyle and Samantha Busch got married on December 31, 2010, in Chicago, nearly three years after they met, where the latter was working as a promotional model.

The couple welcomed their first child, Brexton, in 2015, and then their second child, Lennix, in 2022. The Busch family became one of the most recognizable families in the sport until this tragedy struck in May.

Samantha revealed how Father's Day would have gone with Kyle Busch

Kyle Busch passed away on May 21, and exactly a month later was the 2026 Father's Day on June 21. The otherwise happy occasion naturally turned heartbreaking for the Busch family.

"The Father’s Day cards that were already made, sitting in a drawer with no one to give them to. Trying to figure out how to navigate a day that should be filled with so much joy for them," Samantha Busch wrote on her Instagram.

"He was the dad who never missed a chance to be silly," she continued, "race the kids around the neighborhood, wrap them in his arms, or stay up a little longer for one more book, one more question, one more moment."

Days before his demise, Kyle Busch was suffering from a cold, which formed into pneumonia, and then turned into sepsis really quickly. Busch passed away at the age of 41.
