Trackhouse Racing has endured a tough 2026 season despite showing flashes of speed. As questions continue to surround the team's results, Kevin Harvick has offered advice to the team boss, Justin Marks. 

While discussing the recently held MotoGP race in Germany, where two Trackhouse riders finished the race in podium places. Will Buxton asked Kevin Harvick about the team lacking in performance in the NASCAR series during the 'Speed with Harvick and Buxton' podcast.

"It's people and you got to put the people in the right spots and it when it's not clicking like it is for them on the Moto GP side, at some point you got to start moving those people around. Putting them in a position to try to start mixing it up in the team to be able to find out what's going to make it tick.

Harvick's comments come amid Trackhouse Racing's inconsistent season. With 20 races down so far, the team has managed to get two wins under their belt. Two of these are credited to Shane Van Gisbergen.

As a team, they have managed to get only 5 top fives. Four of these wins have been scored by SVG and the other one has been scored by Ross Chastain.  

I think that when you look at SVG and the success that he is having, and in my opinion, the leader of that organization right now, winning on the road courses. He's got the oval results," he said on the podcast. 

Kevin Harvick is not the only one to notice this inconsistency. Shane Van Gisbergen has also acknowledged the team's struggle to produce consistent results week in and week out. 

SVG gets candid about Trackhouse's NASCAR struggles 

Shane van Gisbergen has shown his strength on road courses by claiming two wins. However, despite this, the Kiwi driver believes that Trackhouse is yet to find the consistency needed every weekend. 

While speaking to Bob Pockrass of FOX Sports ahead of the Chicagoland race, the No. 97 driver opened up about Trackhouse’s recent struggle. 

"Some weeks I find we can run 10th to 15th pretty easily, and other weeks it's a battle to run 30th. As a team, we definitely need to be better and prepare as well as we can," van Gisbergen said. 

SVG has managed to produce somewhat decent performances at the road course. His teammate, Connor Zilisch, who has shown flashes of speed, has been struggling due to the inconsistent speed of the car.
