NASCAR has officially announced a new partnership to support track maintenance and event preparation. Japanese manufacturer Kubota Tractor Corporation has entered into a multi-year deal with NASCAR and will serve as an Official Partner.
The partnership makes Kubota the Official Tractor of NASCAR, the Official Construction Equipment Partner of NASCAR, the Official Compact Equipment Partner of NASCAR, and the Official Utility Vehicle of NASCAR.
"Kubota’s commitment to the people who power our communities – from farmers and builders to the men and women who have served our country – aligns seamlessly with NASCAR’s fan base and values," said Craig Stimmel, NASCAR SVP and Chief Commercial Officer.
Kubota will be the Official sponsor for the upcoming San Diego Weekend in June, presented by Anduril, a defense technology company. The Japanese manufacturer will also be gifting Kubota equipment to five farmer veterans at the event, in line with its 'Geared to Give' program.
The recipients will attend the racing event as guests, watching the action unfold from Kubota's suite, along with a chance to meet Ross Chastain and the Trackhouse Racing team. Kubota continues to extend its relationship with the veteran community, having regularly supported the farmer veterans since 2015.
NASCAR has grown its partnerships recently, with Freeway Insurance returning as one of the Primary Sponsors, while also adding several new partner categories.
Kubota President Alex Woods underlines partnership intention
As Kubota enters into a ground-breaking multi-year partnership with NASCAR, President Alex Woods narrated the corporation's intentions with this deal.
"We’re proud to further align the Kubota brand with one of the most recognized sports organizations in the country, building on the successes of our sponsorship with Trackhouse Racing and Ross Chastain," said Alex Woods, President, Kubota Tractor Corporation.
"Kubota equipment is built for customers who demand quality, durability, and high productivity. NASCAR is built on engineering excellence, speed, and sustained high performance under pressure. Together, we represent two organizations that are part of the fabric of American life, connected by hardworking people and loyal communities that rely on equipment purpose-built for the job – on or off the race track."
Kubota's 2022 deal with Trackhouse Racing still stands strong. The Japanese manufacturer serves as the primary sponsor for racers Ross Chastain, Daniel Suarez, and Shane van Gisbergen, with their cars boasting the orange and black livery at events.
The Tractor company sponsors select races every season for Ross Chastain, Daniel Suarez, and also aids van Gisbergen's adventures in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series after a new partnership.
Ross Chastain has won twice and had multiple top-5 finishes under the Kubota sponsorship since the deal in 2022. Kubota's 'Geared to Give' campaign includes a commitment to grant $10,000 to the Farmer Veteran Coalition every time Chastain finishes in the top 10, so far adding $70,000 to the cause.
Kubota's deal with Trackhouse Racing runs until the end of the 2027 NASCAR season. Moreover, the Japanese manufacturer's NASCAR partnership sees it immerse in the roots of the series for longer.
