Peyton Manning is trading helmets. Instead of his usual football, Manning is venturing into NASCAR in an interesting partnership with the stock-racing series.

'NASCAR Americana' is all set to hit the screens next month. Executive produced by Peyton Manning, the series promises to shine light on the sports deep rooted history and personalities who helped shape it. 

The show premieres on August 9th and is produced by Full Speed Entertainment, the production partnership between NASCAR Studios and award-winning Words + Pictures, and Omaha Productions. The three-part docuseries will feature interviews and stories from various drivers. 

The first part of the series, titled 'Rebel Roots, ' will focus on the early days of the sport and follow Ryan Blaney as he prepares for the 2026 DAYTONA 500. 

The second installment, titled 'Family Bonds,' centers on NASCAR Hall of Fame driver Kurt Busch. According to NASCAR. com, it marks his first formal interview since the sudden passing of his brother Kyle Busch back in May 2026.  

The final episode, titled 'Enduring Spirit,' explores modern-day NASCAR. This episode will feature the 23XI Racing teammates, Tyler Reddick and Bubba Wallace, during the 2026 Anduril 250. 

The series will feature some of the sport's prominent figures, such as four-time NASCAR  Cup Series champion Jeff Gordon. Alongside Gordon, the series will also feature country music legend Darius Rucker, who co-owns Legacy Motor Club; actor-turned-driver Frankie Muniz.

And Manning himself will make an appearance. After all, he's a NASCAR fan too, having once led the pace car a few years ago.

NASCAR fans can catch the first part of the series on USA Network following the Iowa Corn 350 post-race show on August 9th. The other two episodes of the docuseries will be aired after live coverage of the Cook Out 400 at Richmond Raceway on Saturday, August 15, and the Dollar Tree 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Sunday, August 23. 

However, this is not NASCAR’s first docuseries. 

'RISING' NASCAR’s docuseries is all set to come back for a season 2

Back in 2025, NASCAR debuted a series called 'RISING' on YouTube, following the journey of NASCAR’s rising stars Carson Hocevar, Jesse Love, and Rajah Caruth.

The first season of the docuseries was a major hit and generated nearly 11 million views over the five episodes it released on YouTube. It will be interesting to see how the second season goes.

The sanctioning body announced on June 23, 2026, that the docuseries has been renewed for a second season, which will be released later this year in August. The series will be exclusively available on Xumo Play. 

The season will revolve around the Spire Motorsports driver Carson Hocevar, who had his maiden win at Talladega earlier in the season. 

The show will also follow this season’s rookie NASCAR Cup Series driver, Connor Zilisch, who has been hailed as 'Jeff Gordon 2.0'. It will also feature his spectacular 2025 O'Reilly season.
